Everyone knows the refs weren’t at their best Sunday night in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, even the NBA itself.
The league admitted Tuesday that the refs missed some calls during the game’s crucial stages. The most notable non-calls include Andre Igoudala hacking LeBron James’ arm on a shot attempt with less than two minutes remaining, as well as a pair of Draymond Green fouls that appeared to be blatant.
The Cavaliers still managed to pull off the victory and even the series at one game apiece, but surely it wasn’t an easy task. They’ll look to gain a 2-1 series lead against the Warriors on Tuesday night, and we should expect a better performance from the refs.
Then again, this is the NBA we’re talking about, so who knows?
