Finally, our long national nightmare is over! ESPN’s Bill Simmons and former Celtics (now Clippers) head coach Doc Rivers went at each other last week — both on air and in the Twittersphere — over Simmons’ relentless accusations that Rivers quit on the Celtics. The feud reached its apex Friday when Simmons called out Rivers (using his first name, Glenn) over false claims that he’d essentially helped usher Rivers out of Boston.
On Monday’s BS Report, Simmons revealed that he and Doc talked for 45 minutes Friday night, and squashed their silly little beef. So, who played the role of Tom Cruise in the Cousin Sal/Jeff Ross saga? The one and only Michael Wilbon!
