The bidding is finally over. The sneakers which Michael Jordan wore to face the Seattle SuperSonics in Game 3 of the 1996 Finals have been auctioned off for $17,126.
This particular pair of Jordan 11’s was originally given to Eric Snow by Jordan himself, back when Snow was a rookie with Seattle. The pair is also signed by Jordan on the inner ankle of the right shoe.
There were only eight bids, but considering that the shoes had a starting bid price of $5,000, the seller has to be pretty happy with their haul.
