It’s not every day that one will receive a signed jersey from the greatest basketball player of all-time so Patrick Peterson must have been thrilled when he saw this beauty come in the mail.
Personally addressed by Michael Jordan, the inscription reads:
“To Patrick,
Stay Strong.
Michael Jordan”
While Jordan’s message isn’t explicitly clear, it is likely in reference to Peterson’s diabetes, a condition which Patrick didn’t reveal to the public until earlier this year. Peterson has been working hard on his diet and he’s looking to bounce back from a 2014 season in which he didn’t live up to his own lofty standards.
“It (diabetes) is not good for energy and mental mindset,” Peterson said. “Now I have a clear understanding. I am ready to roll.”
