Matthew Dellevedova quickly vaulted from a relatively unknown NBA player to one that most fans despised. The Cleveland Cavaliers guard became an integral piece to their NBA Finals run last year with incredible hustle and a few questionable plays.
He was playing in an international exhibition game for Australia last week when he got into a mini scuffle with Lithuania’s Damontas Sabonis, who plays for Gonzaga, Dellavedova’s former collegiate rival school when he played at St. Mary’s. It’s nothing more than a hard play that included a potentially late swipe by Delly but because it’s him, everyone wants to know it happened and will subsequently freak out over it:
