NBA megastar LeBron James currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, but he is an absolute legend for the Cleveland Cavaliers, after beginning his legendary career in Cleveland and leading the team to an NBA title in 2016. So when the Cavaliers took on the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the NBA playoffs, James was there to support them.
On Tuesday night, LeBron James decided to make a pretty major move of support for the Cleveland Cavaliers as he sat courtside of the game.
The Cavaliers fans also gave him a pretty warm welcome back as they greeted the superstar with a standing ovation when he was shown on the video board during a timeout.

“LeBron receives a standing ovation from Cavs fans. King returns to Cleveland,” Bleacher Report said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
While James is technically a member of the Lakers, he is expected to opt out of his current contract with the Lakers and become a free agent. At that point, he will be free to sign with any team he desires, including a potential return to the Cavaliers if that’s where he chooses to sign.
