Charles Barkley’s headine-captivating hunger strike is over following the Lakers’ 107-92 win over Charlotte on Sunday and one Lakers player is especially happy about it. Forward Ed Davis took to Twitter on Sunday night to express his displeasure with the feisty Barkley. The reaction was expected, as it’s extremely unlikely that the team appreciate the comments of Barkley and others as they have struggled mightily this season.
The victory came in the first game since Barkley’s declaration of a hunger strike and leaves the Lakers tied for the worst record in the Western Conference with the Denver Nuggets at 1-5. They visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.
