As there’s not much else to talk about when it comes to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant was asked about his much-publicized breakfast with Rajon Rondo.
Kobe refused to add any fire to the Rondo-to-Lakers rumors but he did have one definitive thing to say about his breakfast with Rajon:
“It was delicious.”
According to Bryant, the two merely reminisced about the better days, when the Celtics and Lakers were contending for championships rather than lottery picks.
And while the idea of Rondo on the Lakers would certainly be intriguing (after all, how could Kobe not love an incredible pass-first point guard), that was not a seed that Kobe was trying to plant on Thursday.
“I haven’t thought about having any future teammates.”
Sometimes, a delicious breakfast is just a delicious breakfast.
