Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers is enjoying his year-long retirement ceremony, and on Monday he almost had an embarrassing moment. The Lakers were in Indianapolis playing the Pacers and Kobe found himself wide open for a dunk in the second quarter. Kobe had all the time in the world to throw it down, but he couldn’t quite find the old hops he used to possess. Kobe barely was able to convert the layup/dunk, and it even made him chuckle as he knew he was lucky to get away with one and not end up on the low-light reel.
