Kevin Martin, the best player the Oklahoma City Thunder received in exchange for sending James Harden to the Rockets last year, is now in Minnesota, where he’s running alongside a fully healthy Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love. Friday night, the Timberwolves demolished Martin’s former team 100-81, which, trust me, isn’t indicative of how much of a blowout it really was. Over the weekend, Martin was asked how he felt playing for the T-Wolves:
Kevin Martin on playing with the Wolves: “This is such a fun team to play on. Nobody is trying to lead the league in scoring here.”

Martin’s comments are obviously in reference to Thunder star Kevin Durant, who is a three-time scoring champion, and who just missed out on his fourth scoring title last season. Ironically, Kevin Love leads Kevin Durant in points per game so far this season, putting up 29.7 compared to Durant’s 29.3. But, still, SHOTS FIRED!
