On Wednesday, Kevin Garnett made his anticipated return to the court as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
During the game, Garnett couldn’t help but notice one enthusiastic fan who danced shirtless in the crowd with some “KG” body paint plastered all over his belly.
Garnett acknowledged the man’s enthusiasm with a wave and spoke about the incident with reporters after the game.
“I think that you would pay attention to that or at least get your attention for at least five seconds. You know what? The guy was over the top. I had to give him a big shout out and show him that it was all love but that was probably one of the craziest things I’ve seen.”
KG smiling and waving to the crowd? Maybe a return to Minnesota was just what Garnett needed to mellow out a little.
