Jalen Ramsey is a man with much to say. The Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback isn’t afraid to speak his mind, as he’s already admitted this season he would “definitely hit his grandma” on the football field and proclaimed he could make it in the NHL with six months of practice. So, it isn’t surprising Ramsey offered this vague statement on coach Doug Marrone’s job security after the Jags 16-13 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
Asked if he is worried about coach Doug Marrone's job security, #Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey said: “I ain’t worried about nobody but myself.”

It’s hard not to read into the comments. Ramsey could have offered his coach words of support, but the 24-year-old instead took said he wasn’t worried about anyone but himself. It’s not exactly a ringing endorsement from one of the Jags’ best players. Ramsey offered this explanation on Twitter.
Why worry about something you have zero control over and I don’t care are two different sayings & meanings! Y’all are sad forreal. God bless

Jacksonville’s had a nightmare season, as they were largely expected to be Super Bowl contenders. Instead, they’ve struggled mightily to a 4-10 record. Marrone’s doesn’t have 100% job security, and Ramsey could have helped his case by throwing support his way. He didn’t. Yikes. Not a great look, even if the dig wasn’t intentional.
