LeBron James may not ever participate in the official Slam Dunk Contest but that won’t stop him from engaging in a little dunk competition with his teammates.

On Monday, Iman Shumpert posted this video of himself and LeBron thrilling the crowd who showed up early for Sunday’s game against the Orlando Magic.

While Shumpert impresses with his bounce-pass backward dunk, LeBron’s off-the-backboard slam is so breathtakingly awesome that it somehow makes an every-game layup line look more exciting than the annual Slam Dunk Contest.
