Seeing as Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James have solved their free agency quandaries, the rumor mill has started to train its eye on Kevin Durant and a possible return to the Washington D.C. area.
Because this sort of speculation is, on the one hand, compeletely predictable and on the other hand, fairly baseless, Durant has gone ahead and deleted his Twitter app from his phone so he can focus on things that actually matter:
Kevin Durant tells me he’s deleting Twitter from his phone. Doesn’t want the distraction. Won’t leave Twitter itself.

What matters to Kevin Durant? Being really good at basketball. After all, the world needs Kevin Durant concentrating on doing awesome things like what he did today at a USA Basketball scrimmage.
That angle is good and all but this one is better:
So, please. Let Kevin Durant focus on owning USA Basketball scrimmages this summer. We have all of next summer to needlessly speculate about Durant’s every move, tweet and post.
