Ah, newspaper editors…a (dying) career that can be completely ruined with a one-letter typo.
Evansville Courier & Press editor Ryan G. Reynolds learned that lesson the hard way on Wednesday when his publication went to press with the above headline that states “Heat cut Nuts” after Miami defeated Brooklyn last night.
Ouch, that sounds painful. I’m not really sure how the hell that even happened because ‘U’ isn’t a neighboring key to ‘E’ but Reynolds – to his credit – owned up to the mistake on Twitter this morning. I’m sure he won’t be living that one down around the office anytime soon.
