Adjustments to the retired life can be especially tough if you are considered one of the greats. Former NBA guard Paul Pierce is never going to be considered legendary but he definitely left an imprint on the game. Now in his newly retired life, he is going around being peacemaker or in some cases, a shit stirrer.
Ray Allen had been shunned by Pierce after Allen left the Boston Celtics without a call to Pierce. While the two were in China for a celebrity basketball game, all Pierce gave was love.
“Time to get the band back together,” Pierce said in a post on Instagram … “No matter what happens we all formed a special bond that can never b broken #onceacelticalwaysaceltic.”
And on the other side of the spectrum, Pierce was reigning down on Brandon Jennings while in China. Jennings bashed Pierce earlier this year saying that a player shouldn’t get a farewell tour if they only got one ring during their career.
Now Pierce is asking for Jennings while in China because the former lottery pick is now playing ball overseas. It didn’t stop with just one video either.

Pierce isn’t going to stop until he gets justice. Or until he leaves China. The Paul Pierce redemption tour is one hell of a ride.
