It doesn’t get much more depressing if you’re a Timberwolves fan.
During the 2009 NBA draft, Minnesota had back-to-back picks with Stephen Curry still on the board. The problem? They took Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn with their fifth and sixth picks, and the Warriors snagged Curry immediately afterward at No. 7. Ouch.
Timberwolves fans clearly haven’t forgotten about that dreadful day, as evidenced by this sad yet amazing shirt.
