Although his masterful acting job won him a foul call against Manu Ginobili, Dwyane Wade will now pay the price for his ability to sell contact where none actually existed.
The NBA fined Wade $5,000 for essentially treating the air between his face and Manu’s arm like a shotgun blast.
Considering the stakes and the fact that the call did go Dwyane’s way, he’ll pay the fine with little regret. The world now awaits Manu’s response in the Battle of Flops; the real contest of the NBA Finals.
