Dwyane Wade doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. The Heat’s franchise shooting guard posted the above photo on Instagram with the following caption:
“Home Is Where The Heart Is… My Home,My City,My House..#HeatLifer.”
Wade was set to make $42 million over the next two years before he opted out of his deal so that Miami could hopefully re-sign LeBron James load the Heat up with more talent. Brian Windhorst of ESPN is reporting that Wade is set to sign a two year deal with a second year player option that could give Wade a raise in the second year of that deal.
AP reporting Wade will take 2-year deal with 2nd year option with Heat, which would give him flexibility & possible raise next year.

Tim Reynolds is stating that Wade is essentially taking a pay cut this season since he opted out.
With Dwyane Wade, sources say it is a two-year deal with a player option for next season. Expect about $16-17M in salary this coming year.

For funsies, that two year deal would expire at the same time as LeBron James’ current contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. ESPN is giddy with anticipation already.
