In last month’s NBA Draft, Bronny James was selected in the second round of the draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, where he will join his father LeBron James on the roster. But one NBA superstar does not seem to think that Bronny has the talent to play in the NBA.

On Monday night, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was sitting courtside at the NBA Summer League games in Las Vegas alongside WNBA stars Angel Reese and Kysre Gondrezick.

As a camera panned to the three of them during the game, it seemed to show showed Brown saying something quite critical about Bronny James.

“I don’t think Bronny’s a pro,” Brown appeared to say to Gondrezick and Reese.

“Me neither,” Reese seemd to say, shaking her head.

“I think he’ll be on the G-League team, for sure,” Gondrezick appeared to reply.

It’s not clear exactly what Brown said in response to Gonderzick, but he seemd to indicate that he believes Bronny will be on the Lakers due to his status as the son of LeBron James.

Obviously, Brown is not the only one who thinks that Bronny James is getting a little bit of special treatment as a result of his father’s accomplishments, but it’s certainly interesting that cameras caught him talking about it on the sideline.
