In what I’m sure was some crazy coincidence, the Miami Heat managed to acquire LeBron James’ favorite player in this year’s draft class in Shabazz Napier. Napier was selected by the Charlotte Hornets at No. 24 overall but then traded to the Heat, much to the dismay of Bill Simmons.
After getting caught fist pumping the Celtics’ selection of James Young earlier in the night, Simmons rolled his eyes in dramatic fashion after stating that he’s “tired of teams helping Miami.” Can’t win ’em all, I guess.
