Even after we’ve had nearly 48 hours to digest game three of the NBA Finals, the Spurs’ success still seems hard to fathom. With game four looming — it starts at 9 p.m. E.T. tonight — it’s time to take a look back at game three and all of the unfathomable stats that were presented to us. If I was a betting man (I am), there’s no way in the world I’d bet on these three statistics repeating themselves in game four.
That First Half
The Spurs weren’t just shooting well in the first half, they were pretty much hitting everything. San Antonio set an NBA-Finals record with its 75.8 first half shooting percentage. That’s a shooting percentage impossible to maintain.
