We really, really, really hope that this guy asked Pedro for permission to snap his photo before doing so because while he already looks like an idiot, he looks like an even bigger idiot if he didn’t give him a heads up first. During the Red Sox’s marathon win on Friday night, one that actually went extra innings as opposed to the other Sox-Yanks 9-inning games that take 4-plus hours, former Red Sox pitcher Pedro Martinez was in attendance.
The cameras panned his way a few times during the game and managed to catch this aggressive Yankees fan getting within 2-3 inches of his face to take his photo. As if that wasn’t enough, the guy zooms in to get an even closer shot. While it’s certainly possible he was taking a picture of something beyond Martinez, we’re not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. You be the judge:
