The baseball season is often a long slog through the summer but every now and then something really cool happens, even if it doesn’t have much to do with the actual outcome of the games themselves.
Take these instances which happened on Monday night. The Boston Red Sox were playing the Chicago Cubs and in the fifth inning Cubs batter Darwin Barney kept hitting foul balls towards the third base line.
Impressively, the ball girl tasked with managing the that side of foul territory made two impressive grabs and nearly had a third on some blisteringly hit grounders.
