If you score a hat trick in a Women’s World Cup soccer final game, you have every excuse to not toss out a good first pitch at a MLB game. Check out Carli Lloyd’s attempt at throwing out a first pitch prior to the Mariners game on Wednesday, and you will probably agree that it wasn’t exactly perfect. We will absolutely give her an ‘A’ for effort, but we wouldn’t say that she “nailed it.”

We still love you Carli.
