Tony Bennett is a legend who the San Francisco Giants rightly asked to sing “God Bless America” during Game 3 of the NLDS between the Giants and the Washington Nationals.
And, depending on your point of view, Bennett either flubbed some lyrics or improved upon them. After all, it’s debatable which is better (although only A is “correct):
A) “To the oceans, white with foam”
or
B) “To the ocean, bright with gold”
