Are you a San Francisco Giants fan? Do you look at your black and gold 2014 World Series commemorative cap and wish that you had something that every other Giants fan didn’t have? Well, then this could be your lucky day.
The Giants are holding a raffle for one of the team’s very real 2014 World Series rings (not one of those 40,000 replicas that the team handed out earlier this year). In addition to being an exact copy of the ring that the Giants received for their 2014 championship, the ring will also be engraved with the raffle winner’s last name (you know, so you won’t get it confused with your friend’s World Series ring). The winner will also get to attend the August 28th game between the Cardinals and the Giants where they’ll receive their prize in a special pre-game ceremony.
Raffle tickets are $2 each but one has to buy at least five to be entered. If you decide to pluck down $10 and find yourself ringless after the drawing takes place, at least you can rest assured that the proceeds from the raffle are going towards the Giants Community Fund. The deadline to enter the raffle is Sunday, June 21st.
