Showtime is bringing ‘The Franchise‘ back this year, but instead of the San Francisco Giants, the Miami Marlins and new manager Ozzie Guillen are the focus. According to Showtime, ‘it will feature exclusive all-access coverage of Marlins management and players both on and off-the-field, the pomp and circumstance of the opening of Marlins Park and the events surrounding the suspension of manager Ozzie Guillen.’ An interesting note is that this episode does cover the Ozzie/Castro situation which lead to a five-game suspension for the Marlins outspoken manager, including the actual revealing of the suspension to Ozzie.
