The Houston Astros managed to lose a game with the very rare walk-ooo error. The Astros thought they were heading to extra innings as Russell Martin hit a fly ball to shallow right centerfield in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded and two outs. Even Houston reliever Edgar Gonzalez thought it was all over as he skipped off the mound, unfortunately, the Astros are the Astros. Second baseman Jake Elmore and right fielder Jimmy Paredes had a miscommunication and ran directly into each other causing the ball to drop to the ground and cement in the Astros league worst MLB record of 11-31.
