Saltalamacchia currently has the distinction of owning the longest name in baseball history (14 letters) and anchors a lineup featuring all-star Paul Goldschmidt as pretty much the only good player out of the bunch (apologies to Adeiny, Brett, Joey, et al).
2013 Honorable Mentions include: Al Alburquerque, Joba Chamberlain, Edwin Encarnacion, Darin Mastroianni, and Nate Schierholtz among others.
