Although it wasn’t quite a mind-boggling as Peter King’s, the Boston Red Sox had a terribly timed (and possibly scheduled) tweet on Monday night just as the Ferguson indictment news was being broadcast on national TV.
The tweet -which simply read “So how was everyone’s Monday?” – was most likely a reference to the Sox’s big free agent signings of Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez, but it was also one that should have been saved for another time.
The Sox quickly deleted the tweet a few minutes later.
