The Oakland Athletics finished with the worst record in all of baseball last season. And according to PFT Commenter of Barstool Sports, the 2024 season will be much of the same for them.
Eric Sollenberger, better known to the sports media world as PFT Commenter, spoke about how he and fellow Barstool personality and Pardon My Take co-host “Big Cat” plan on betting against the Athletics for every game of the 162-game season.
“Big Cat and I have decided to fade the Athletics every single game,” said PFT Commenter. “So I will be putting a unit on the Athletics every time they play, 162 times a year, we’re betting against them. Wake up, bet against the Athletics, sleep, profit, and repeat. -1.5 every single game. It hit in Game 1, so we’re up on the year.”
"John Fisher's a piece of shit and he’s ruined the team. He’s made them unwatchable as a big ‘F–k you to the Oakland fans.’ He’s trying to move the team to Vegas. Vegas doesn’t even really want them that bad…
"He’s my new Dan Snyder. I want that guy gone."

He then went on to go into a detailed rant against the organization, and in particular their owner John Fisher, for the team’s agreed-upon move to Las Vegas.
“We hate John Fischer,” PFT Commenter added. “The guy is a piece of s*** and he has ruined the team. He’s made them unwatchable as a big f*** you to the Oakland fans. He’s trying to move the team to Las Vegas. Vegas doesn’t even really want them that bad. He’s a real piece of s***. He’s my new Dan Snyder, I want that guy gone.”
He even went on to urge listeners who are in Las Vegas to rally for the Schools Over Stadiums Act in the state, which is a movement attempting to stop the public funding that the Athletics and Fisher are looking for to move to Vegas.
Fisher has been unpopular for years now amongst A’s fans. And now, he could face even more backlash thanks to this public rant from PFT Commenter.
