Mets pitcher Dillon Gee and the rest of the Mets who were aboard the team’s charter flight on Sunday found themselves just one runway away from the Asiana Flight 214 which crash landed at SFO the day before and tragically took the lives of two passengers. Dillon Tweeted out an image of the crashed plane with the following words, “Still thinking about the people affected by the ASIANA crash in SF! We just landed right next to it!!”
Our hearts go out to all those affected by the tragedy at SFO.
