The MLB made a great deal of Braves fans happy today as they released drawings of their new stadium which is slated to be up and running in 2017. Cobb County Stadium is said to be able to seat 41,000 fans and (not surprisingly) will be erected in Cobb County.
According to Braves President John Schuerholz via the AJC:
“This is a very early look at how our vision is shaping up and, even though we are still months away from final plans and drawings, we are very pleased with the progress. The renderings represent the sense of place we intend to create 365 days a year in addition to a world-class ballpark.”
The price tag is reported to be around the $400 million mark.
