The Miami Marlins are a young team with a payroll that is the rough equivalent to one Vernon Wells and one Hiroki Kuroda. The Marlins are also not playing that terrible lately, posting a 24-21 record since June. They have some young, lively arms and some solid offensive pieces that may just turn this team into a contender sooner than everybody thinks.
Logan Morrison is a key cog in the Marlin Rebuild, once touted as the number 2 prospect in their system, Morrison has experienced some ups and downs to begin his career, but he should be a serviceable Major Leaguer as he progresses. LoMo as they call him, is also quite funny and has a big following on social media. Tweets like this one are evidence to why LoMo has become one of Baseball’s Must Follows.
