It appears that the long baseball offseason hasn’t caused any rust on Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick, who celebrated the A’s first Spring Training game yesterday by making a pair of insane catches over the right field fence.
The catches were almost identical (though the first was much more impressive, in my opinion) and, oddly enough, both were off the bat of Giants slugger Michael Morse, who is going to be Reddick in his nightmares for the next few days. Absolutely incredible plays, the both of them.
After the game, Reddick offered to take Morse out for dinner to atone for his sins:
