John Axford is either a really smart movie buff, or he can see into the future. The Cleveland Indians reliever has a tradition of making Oscars predictions and posting them on his Facebook page for all of his fans to see. He’s had a a pretty run the past few years, but nothing compared to what he managed last night.
Axford managed to nail every one of his 18 predictions for the Academy Awards last night, a feat that even most the most respected movie critics would find to be incredibly difficult.

Axford left out some technical categories this year but – after wrapping up his “perfect game” last night – he says he may take a shot at all 24 awards next year. If you’re a Hollywood name that winds up on his list in 2015, you have to feel pretty good about your chances.
