Bryant is one of the best basketball players of all time, but right now the 36-year-old’s contract is killing the Lakers. His $23.5 million base salary in 2015 was just plain ridiculous for a declining, injury-prone player on such a terrible team. He’ll make $25 million during the 2015-16 season, but there’s no doubt L.A. will want him gone when his contract comes to an end.
