Wilson’s making $18 million this season after signing a 5-year, $77.5 million deal with the Angels in 2011. Simply put, Wilson isn’t even close to worth that kind of cash. The 34-year-old’s ERA has never been below 4.00 with the Angels except in 2013 when it was 3.94. Pick baseball, kids. That’s where the big money is.
