Late in their rough 2015 campaign, the Boston Red Sox announced manager John Farrell had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt lymphoma and he was taking a leave of absence to treat it.
Today, the Red Sox announced, via press release, that Farrell’s cancer was in remission which is awesome news. Farrell was announced to be coming back as Boston’s manager for next season.
