Prior to Sunday’s pivotal Game 5 of the World Series, the San Francisco Giants paid tribute to the late Robin Williams, a longtime fan and Bay Area native. As part of the touching tribute, AT&T Park played clips of Williams’ work on the jumbotron in center field before the game, including this clip of the comedian rallying the home crowd during the NLDS in 2010.
The team also invited Williams’ children – Zak, Zelda and Cody – to throw out the first pitch alongside family friend Billy Crystal.
It was a pretty great tribute and gesture by the Giants, who went on to win 5-0 and move within one game of another World Series title.
