Brian Wilson’s beard has grown into a beast of epic proportions over the past few years and the reliever has no plans to kill that beast any time soon – even if it means that he has to turn down a team bidding for his services.
With Wilson currently a free agent, the Yankees and GM Brian Cashman reached out to the pitcher’s agent to inquire about adding him to their bullpen. Unfortunately for the Yankees, their strict policy against facial hair has killed any negotiations before they’ve even begun.
You can rule out Brian Wilson to the Yankees. Agent tells Brian Cashman that Wilson won't shave his beard. Seriously.

I guess this shouldn’t come as a huge shocker considering Wilson turned down $1 million from a razor company to shave the beard earlier this year. If nothing else, you’ve got to respect the man’s dedication to his chin sweater.
