3B Kyle Seager, Seattle Mariners
The Mariners might be in contention (eight games over .500, third best run differential) for the first time in what feels like forever, but they’re only going to be sending two players to the All-Star game this year. They should have a third: Kyle Seager. After a terrible start to the season, Seager is hitting .274/.347/.483, his wRC+ is 131, and he’s a 3.2 win player. He’s also jacked 13 home runs. He’s not an All-Star.
EDIT: Edwin Encarnacion was put on the 15-day DL. Seager will replace him at the All-Star Game.
