This bunt attempt during the Yankees and Rays game on Wednesday kind of encapsulates Derek Jeter’s final season. Well-intentioned, off the mark and yet immensely entertaining and watchable.
I mean, I bet that guy in the stands was so transfixed by the majesty of The Captain that he totally took that baseball to the face rather than lose sight of Jeter for even one second.
