As expected, Derek Jeter was greeted by a standing ovation prior to his first at-bat in his final All-Star Game on Tuesday night. However, not EVERYONE in the Target Field crowd was drinkin’ that Jeter Kool-Aid…as mics picked up a lone fan chanting “OVERRATED” as Jeter led off the first inning.
It was pretty hilarious, especially when Jeter proceeded to smack a double to right field just seconds later. Talk about your all-time backfire for that dude in the crowd.
