Dansby Swanson’s dream came true Monday night as he was drafted first overall to the Arizona Diamondbacks, and his teammates were there to celebrate alongside him.
After the pick was made, the Vanderbilt shortstop and the entire Commodores team reacted and celebrated in what made for a truly awesome moment.

The 21-year-old and his Vandy teammates had plenty of reasons to be happy Monday, as they also defeated Illinois 4-2 in Super Regionals and moved on to the College World Series.
