We just saw two NHL games (Kings/Ducks and Devils/Rangers) take place in MLB stadiums (Dodger Stadium and Yankee Stadium) over the weekend, and for a three-day event beginning Friday, professional tennis will be played in the San Diego Padres’ Petco Park.
Specifically, Davis Cup action between the United States and Great Britain (featuring Andy Murray) will take place on a clay court located in Petco’s left field.
Here’s an image of what it all looks like right now from the Petco press box:
Tickets for the event are sold as a three-day package, with the total price of the package ranging from $140 to $500.
