Since I’m not Carlos Beltran, I can’t tell you what he was thinking when he swung at this pitch from Jordan Walden last night. But, seeing as how Beltran is a Major League Baseball All-Star who has been known to hit the ball quite well from time to time, I’m sure he wasn’t thinking it would land a solid two and a half feet in front of home plate.
But that’s exactly what it did, and now we can all laugh at this GIF while Beltran goes and gets his eyes checked.
