Bobby Valentine has found his way back to broadcasting. According to an AP report, Bobby V will be a pre- and post-game for 12 to 15 New York Mets broadcasts for SportsNet New York, better known as SNY, this season. The Mets fired Valentine after the 2002 season after he took them to the World Series in 2000.
Bobby has been pretty busy lately, accepting a job as the Athletic Director at Sacred Heart University, becoming an analyst for NBC Sports Radio, and making CBSSports.com Commercials (aka taking subtle shots at the Red Sox).
His prior broadcast experience was at ESPN in 2011 before essentially swapping jobs with Terry Francona as the Red Sox Manager.
