Following a Curtis Granderson strike out on Friday, A.J. Pierzynski attempted to throw to third to start the usual ‘around the horn’, however it didn’t go as planned. A.J. put a little too much mustard on the toss and the ball sailed into left field.
You have to love how A.J. immediately forgot it happened and just grabbed a new ball form the umpire. The Braves and Mets were tied at 0 in the bottom of the first when the non-error occurred.
